Some progress...

We moved temporarily for school. This means we're on the Island for a few months before heading back home to the flatlands and dark skies.

Here's a shot of the skies out here from my trusty Sony Mavica.

I've got some solid drafts for three of my story ideas thus far. One of them is a story about a common device connected to everything through AI, and the implications of its predictive analysis. The next idea is a short about the summer before high school, and how someone with a big imagination might handle that. The third story involves the near future and civil war engulfing North America. This last one might have legs as a larger story, but I like how it has a vignette feel in a bigger setting.

And now I'm looking for places to submit to once they're tightened up. I hope to have some updates regarding that soon.

Hopefully this doesn't die on the table

As I've mentioned in my About page, I have a story file and while I've already written a few stories to completion, I will be sorting through the hundreds of prompts and scenes to identify what comes next.

I also happen to be into photography and this image of mine inspires me to consider a darker future, but also to imagine what beauty and good can come from even the most dystopian of settings. I think I'll stick to my Sony Mavica for images from now on in keeping with the theme of this website.

I'll explain more about my story file and provide updates regarding my luck with submissions. What an adventure this could be.
